A few things I’m loving right now that are on my Christmas list! That gold sparkly dress would be perfect for new years, and I have wanted black Doc Martens & a raw crystal ring for FOREVER, but they are just things I don’t NEED that cost a little more than I want to spend. I’m planning on redoing my room soon, and hooopefully creating a studio space in our basement, so the Doctor Who print and lantern are super cute pieces I’d love to have to decorate with.

This dress is one of my faaavorites. It’s a young girls dress from the 60s/70s so it’s real short , but it works for me because I am real short! I especially love the Aztec pattern & colors of the fabric on the top half. It’s a great dress for Fall-Winter because of the long-sleeves and the heavy 70s polyester fabric.┬áIt was an extra fun find because it’s from Salvation Army, and not an actual vintage store! It’s always exciting to find good vintage gems in thrift stores.

What do you need for your wardrobe & home this winter??

I have really been digging long-sleeve dresses this Fall. Especially mini dresses. Especially when they have collars & cuffs. Long-sleeve dresses are perfect for November, as we transition from Autumn to Winter. I’ve compiled a group of some of my favorites here for you! My personal favs are the tan Asos dress with leather collar & cuffs + studded collar detail [4], and the lilac dress from Romwe [7]. I’m a sucker for a good collar detail! <33

Which one do you need for your Autumn-Winter wardrobe?!

This year for Halloween I was a BAT.

I’ve never been one for store bought costumes. I love creating my own look to get things just right! This costume consisted of a thrifted top, with panels of fabric sewn on the back & arms for wings. I created the ears using some pleather fabric I hot glued together into little pouches and put a thin wire inside for support. I wrapped the ends of wires around a plain black headband I bought at Target, and secured them with some more hot glue. The mask was a black masquerade mask I purchased at Michaels and trimmed down/reshaped. I paired these DIY items with some American Apparel leggings, some knee high black combat boots [similar], and this silver spike necklace from Romwe. I wore Va Va Violet┬áRevlon Super Lustrous Lipstick.
